When The Line first opened in 1995, one of the first artists to exhibit with us was Val Hamilton, who made lovely and varied silver jewellery. Her technical ability mixed with a lovely sense of humour, making her work popular and much appreciated.
After a while, Val moved to Oban and, to a degree, we lost contact. However that circumstance has been put right and we are delighted to welcome Val back to The Line with a show tracing her development from those early days, and recording a move away from silver to collage and more. We think you will enjoy the story.
