A Festive Mini Bookbinding Workshop

Join Edinburgh based Bookbinder Cass, of Bookbinding with Cass, to make a collection of mini leather or pleather bound books with decorative stitching, which make for great gifts and stocking fillers!

Over the course of the workshop Cass will introduce a number of different decorative stitches and show you how to transform remnant leather, pleather and paper into joyful mini books, with lots of ideas on how to personalise and decorate them to give each one it's own character.

These A8 sizes books are a great way to get creative with minimal materials, and the timing of this workshop means you’ll not only get to tick some presents off your DIY Christmas list, but you’ll learn new skills in the process and be putting lots of fab remnant materials to use!

All materials provided, plus a festive brew to sip while you sew!

Following the workshop Cass will give you access to her series of Mini Bookbinding video tutorials, which come in really useful should you want a reminder of the techniques covered. She will also have bookbinding toolkits and extra materials available to purchase after the workshop in case you want to make more mini books at home (once you get started it's difficult to stop!).

This workshop is being repeated twice - once in the afternoon, once in the evening, and promises to be a friendly class if you are attending solo or a great option if you're looking to spend some creative time with a friend. Spaces are limited - to book, contact The Line Gallery - all@thelineonline.co.uk.
