August 8 to September 1 2015

For those of us with a Glasgow background, Glasgow Print Studio, Third Eye Centre, Wasps - all of these will have a resonance which time does nothing to diminish. Running like a warp thread through all of this - vital to the solidity of the fabric of time, but not always overly visible on the surface - is John Taylor. Painter and print maker, teacher and objective commentator, John's and his work have earned a place in Scotland's canon. The Line is delighted to be showing a range of John's more recent paintings and prints - from Glesgae doocots to the wilds of Kerry, landscape to more abstract city details, there is something in this show which will catch everyone's attention.

Do come along and enjoy the exhibition which we have selected to add to the excitement of the Edinburgh Festival and widen the interest along the Edinburgh/Glasgow axis.
