The Ladies of The Line by Lorna Pirrie
Well, there is no end in sight to the current lockdown and we are concerned to keep our artists in public sight in preparation for the re-opening of The Line and the resumption of our exhibition programme, whenever that might be. We have always welcomed visitors to the gallery to look at artist's work before deciding to buy, and we make no bones about our personal preference of looking at work 'in the flesh'.
However - for the duration of the current strange times, and with the suggestion coming from one of our customers, we have launched Lockdown Postcards from The Line through which we will post small scale works here and on our facebook page daily, with the opportunity to purchase and have the piece sent directly to you from the artist. Postcards from friends are always welcome - and this is our way of keeping in touch.
