The first Tuesday after the second Thursday in June will ring bells with all of those born in Linlithgow, or who have ever lived here. That is the date upon which The Marches take place, and from 5 am until late in the day the bands will be playing around town, best clothes will be worn and the traditional boundaries of the Royal Burgh confirmed as secure for another year.
Here at The Line we would like to wish all participants and those here in spirit a very Happy Marches and send all good wishes for a safe twelve months to come.
The Line will be closed from June 12 to 22 - and ready to open an exhibition in support of Linlithgow's Inviting Gardens and Burgh Beautiful from June 24th.
