It is wonderfully comforting when the arts world agrees with our assessment of an artist's work - but then again, with work of the kind made by our much loved Ruth Nicol there was never going to be any doubt! Ruth has just been announced as runner up in the prestigious 2013 Jolomo Awards and we are thrilled to bits on her account. If you are quick you cab catch her exhibition at the RGI in Glasgow, or you could wait and see her fantastic paintings here at The Line from August 10th.

If you happened to be free somewhere between 1 and 4 on the afternoon of the 10th itself, you could come along and meet Ruth in person and raise a glass to celebrate her success. We certainly will be!
