It is lovely when an artist one has seen develop really comes to flower, and we are thrilled to bring to Linlithgow another fine painter who has strong connections with the town where he lives still. Colin Wilson studied in Linlithgow and at Edinburgh college of art and his realistic compositions are a delight. Also a student of Edinburgh, Lorna Pirrie brings to her portraits an honesty and clarity which both challenge and delight. Be aware that you may see familiar faces in this show!
