It's been quite a winter so far, I think everyone will agree. What we need now is some light, some colour and a bit of warmth. For this reason, and because there is a wealth of beautiful work we are bursting to show you, our third show is entitled All things bright and beautiful - a mixed show with some gallery favourites and some new discoveries. All bring sparkle and light to help cheer Spring on its way.
We are delighted to welcome Dianne King back to The Line with a range of new jewellery based around the theme of the ruffle. This new series is described by Dianne as follows - 'The 'Ruffle' series was inspired by looking at Elizabethan portraits, especially the ruffs. The undulating form, seeming to constantly move, has been re-interpreted using a fold-forming technique. I also like the way the ruff frames the face, just like a necklace.'
